Ancaster Mill, where Tyson works, is one of the area’s great restaurants. Tyson and Hayley decided we should experience it first hand and booked us a table… Great decision! We found ourselves seated at probably the best table, overlooking the natural waterfall the restaurant is built around.
No menus tonight- Chef Scott designed a menu just for us; course after course of amazing food and matched wines… just stunning! We finished the night with a tour through the kitchens and pantries, the real nerve centre of the restaurant; Tyson’s home turf!
Too many highlights throughout the night to single any one out, but how about a starter of quail egg served on finely diced, delicate beets… because Scott had heard Australians liked egg and beetroot on their burgers! Oh, and why so few photos? Too busy eating!
