Quebec City (Part #1)…

What amazing spot! The only walled city in North America, with a history of growth and turmoil going back over 400 years since it was first settled by the French.
Quebec, or Ke-bec as the locals seem to pronounce it, has an Old Town that seems to be relocated from Europe, perhaps France or Prague, with little bits of fairy tale thrown in for good measure.
Sitting high on cliffs over the mighty St. Lawrence River it could well be a medieval town on the Danube… except perhaps for the burgers on virtually every menu and the hockey souvenirs on sale everywhere…
