34??…

34??… yes, that was the jump in temperature (in Fahrenheit; from about 1?? to 17?? for the rest of the world) from when we drove out of Quebec City until we reached The Canadian/U. S. border! We left Quebec with Remembrance Day being commemorated amid a dusting of snow and headed southwards, the temperature climbing steadily (and unseasonably) as we drove.
With about 400 km to travel today there were few stops after out 12:00 noon departure apart from a lunch stop (see “From the ridiculous to the sublime!” for details!)
Most of today’s photos were Jan’s hurried efforts through the windscreen as we drove, guided through some fascinating rural and river scenes by Diane, our unflappable GPS until our final destination: Burlington, Vermont.
