America’s oldest town- in fact it celebrates itself as “America’s Home Town”, is a pretty, generally unspoiled and liveable jewell brimming with history and tales of the sea, ghosts, survival and celebration. The home of Thanksgiving, turkey dinners and the place the Mayflower brought 50 or so outcasts from England 400 years ago, Plymouth was an accidental overnighter for us which turned into three wonderfully quaint, fascinating and quirky days… well worth a visit!
