To get back to New York we had to drop our car off and transfer to train (not so keen to brave New York traffic!) We didn’t have much in mind to see in Boston but though we should spend a couple of days anyway, just so we could say we’d been there. Clever. We liked Boston a lot, way more than we could have hoped. Sort of buzzy, sort of calm, nice parks, interesting people, Harvard University, autumn colour still in the trees, music, coffee you could actually drink (mostly), an outdoor bookshop in a lane-way, lots of history, a distinctive accent and some great food- including lobster rolls! Here is a sample; Welcome to “Bahston!”
(Warning: this a catch up post… Lots of photos!)
