Freo, way to go… *

We have made a 3500km trek across The Nullarbor with our bikes in a state of dismemberment in the back of the Subaru, so it was a relief to finally take them out today, reassemble them into working treadlies and get back into pedal powered exploration again!

We started with modest plans to explore the Swan River by following the cycling path but the track was so good, the day so perfect and the pedals flashing so happily we detoured all the way to Fremantle. Glad we did! Another great destination- WA is turning them out one after another!
Freo is as great as everyone says. Like Perth it has wonderfully preserved building from its early days, all still vibrant and useful, plus a real buzz- lots of cool things to see and do and a happy vibe everywhere we explored.

Lunch at the Little Creatures Brewery capped of the whole experience- and with Geelong getting our very own Little Creatures soon we can’t wait to try the whole thing again at home before the year is out!

*probably the worst AFL club song, although no one’s really heard GWS’s enough to make an objective decision yet.20130503-235206.jpg20130503-235545.jpg20130503-235629.jpg20130503-235735.jpg
