Paris in the springtime…

It’s a great time to be here n Paris! The mornings are crispy-cool and by the afternoon it is sunny and lovely to walk everywhere.
Each corner we turn brings new oohs and aahs… always a surprise to be found and springtime is really kicking in- lots of flowers in bloom and trees sporting wispy new leaves. All very pretty, but the fountains are still empty after their winter rest- hopefully we get to see some before we leave.
Our first full day had us along the Seine, through La Marais and getting our bearings. The apartment is in an amazing location, just a few minutes walk to the river and a view of Notre Dame. Absolutely perfect…
Last night we made our way to the Eiffel Tower at sunset and waited for the glittery light to come on. It was a beautiful night and not too busy so we found a good spot, took lots of silly and memory filled photos and took it all in. (Actually took in a huge crepe with Nutella and strawberries as well!)
Charlie had already been to a skate shop he had researched before we came over and is now happily riding his new Nozbone board the streets of Paris… he has had a VERY good day!
Now, we’re off again for some new discovery!

What a great time to be in Paris. Shame about the fountains. Thought they were only turned off in the winter because of ice and snow!
I don’t love Geelong in the Autumn. Lots of foggy mist all day. Hope it fines up for the family wedding at the weekend. Relatives from Washington arrive in Geelong on Friday. 6team playing well, Ian
